Three-dimensional films have become a dime a dozen in Hollywood, but they are still untapped territory in Korea, which makes the release of "Sector 7" significant in Korean film history. And "Sector 7" is hoping to pave the way for 3-D film market in Korea.

The film depicts the crew of an oil drillship that battles a sea monster that has been transformed by a virus.

"Sector 7" is unique in that it features a female warrior as the lead, which is hard to find in most Korean films. Actress Ha Ji-won, who played a stunt woman in the drama series "Secret Garden" earlier this year, goes further than that in "Sector 7."

"Sector 7" is available with English subtitles at Myeongdong Station, Guro, Gangnam and Yongsan CGVs.

Sinopsis Indonesia

Suatu malam Wawan diteror habis-habisan oleh Pocong di tempat kostnya. Kemudian Hary, Boy dan Tedi mengalami hal yang sama, bahkan kemudian Tedi harus tertabrak mobil, ketika ia ketakutan dikejar pocong sehingga Tedi harus dirawat di rumah sakit.

Esoknya, Hary dan Wawan segera mendatangi Dukun sakti untuk meminta perlindungan. Tapi ternyata, keris pemberian Dukun untuk melindungi Wawan dan Hary tidak membuat Pocong berhenti mengejar.

Kecelakaan yang menimpa Tedi dan Hary, membuat Wawan dan Boy semakin ketakutan. Tapi mereka tidak bisa menghindar lagi dari dendam Pocong. Malam berikutnya, Wawan yang harus mengalami kecelakaan dengan mobilnya, karena Pocong terus menterornya. Boy panic, sehingga ia akhirnya mengakui kesalahnnya kepada Ririn dan Mirna teman kostnya. Ternyata, Hary Cs sudah berbuat kesalahan, yaitu telah membunuh tidak sengaja seorang gadis bernama Lastri.

Kejadiannya, suatu hari Wawan membuat skenario untuk menjodohkan Hary dengan Lastri, teman sekampusnya. Wawan bersama Boy mengajak Lastri untuk ikut pulang dengan mobil Wawan. Di tengah jalan mobil Wawan mogok, padahal itu hanya rekayasa saja.

Wawan menawarkan kepada Lastri untuk pulang bersama Hary. Ia bahkan menjamin Lastri akan baik-baik saja bersama Hary, karena Hary teman baiknya. Padahal, maksud Wawan menawarkan Lastri ikut bersama Lastri, semata-mata supaya Lastri bisa dekat dengan Hary.

Lastri mencium gelagat tersebut. Ia merasa tersinggung diperlakukan seperti itu oleh Wawan. Lastri marah, kemudian pergi meninggalkan Wawan Cs.

Wawan berusaha mengejar Lastri, dan Lastri mempercepat jalannya. Tiba-tiba saja kaki Lastri tersandung batu dan terjatuh. Seketika itu Lastri terkapar tak sadarkan diri. Bahkan, setelah diperiksa nadinya, ternyata Lastri telah meninggal. Wawan Cs panik. Mereka saling menyalahkan.

Malam itu mereka menyimpan mayat Lastri di gudang. Tapi karena khawatir mayat itu akan membusuk dan tercium orang, esoknya mereka memutuskan untuk menguburkan mayat Lastri -- dengan mengenakan kain kafan - secara layak di tanah kosong. Mayat Lastri penasaran, dan akhirnya Pocong “mengejar-ngejar” mereka semua.

Michiko (Ai Hashimoto) lost her dad in a car accident when she was 10 years old. After the car accident, Michiko has lived with her mother Kyoko (Mahiru Konno). Michiko, now in her 2nd year of high school, gets a cell phone from her mother as a birthday present. Michiko is so excited to have her very first cell phone. Soon afterwards, she is forced into joining social networking site "AvaQ" by classmate, and queen of the classroom, Taeko Awano (Rikako Sakata).

Initially, Michiko is not interested in the site or the world of avatars as she thinks of avatars as nothing more than a doll. But by chance, she becomes hooked on decorating her own avatar. In order to collect virtual money to dress her avatar Michiko blackmails a salary worker. During the annual AvaQ contest for the best dressed avatar, Michiko wins the prize. She now becomes queen of the classroom.

Michiko sets up an avatar club of odd gas masks. She also has plastic surgery to make herself look more like her avatar and becomes prettier. Michiko's personality also changes. Trouble soon brews for Michiko when her home room teacher Mizokuchi (Toranosuke Kato) threatens her and fellow classmate Yamanouchi (Kazuma Sano) betrays her. Meanwhile, Michiko doesn't even blink her eyes. She starts getting revenge.

Michiko (Ai Hashimoto) kehilangan ayahnya dalam kecelakaan mobil ketika ia berusia 10 tahun. Setelah kecelakaan mobil, Michiko telah tinggal dengan ibunya Kyoko (Mahiru Konno). Michiko, sekarang dalam tahun 2 SMA-nya, mendapat ponsel dari ibunya sebagai hadiah ulang tahun. Michiko sangat bersemangat untuk memiliki ponsel yang sangat pertama. Segera setelah itu, dia dipaksa bergabung dengan situs jejaring sosial "AvaQ" oleh teman sekelas, dan ratu kelas, Taeko Awano (Rikako Sakata).

Awalnya, Michiko tidak tertarik pada situs atau dunia avatar saat ia berpikir avatar sebagai tidak lebih dari boneka. Tapi secara kebetulan, ia menjadi kecanduan avatar dekorasi nya sendiri. Dalam rangka untuk mengumpulkan uang virtual untuk avatar gaunnya Michiko memeras pekerja gaji. Selama kontes AvaQ tahunan untuk avatar berpakaian terbaik, Michiko memenangkan hadiah.
